Cultivate full inclusion of the client in the soul work to be done
In my practice I ask my clients to imaginatively envision what it is beyond their ego-personality that wants to be told. I invite them to allow voices other than “their own” to be heard through them, and then to bring their own soul-Selves into the conversation with these “others.”
Clients are also fully involved at every level in the processes of “listening from the soul,” “creating sacred space,” “becoming initiated as Earth-centered beings,” and “including ALL beings” that voice or image themselves up and out of the client’s soul-world, his or her subconscious, from Earth, and from the world of Spirit.
Together as kindred spirits we move toward fulfilling the client’s needs for inner growth and psychological and emotional wellbeing.
When I prepare the ritual space or therapeutic environment, I am in an intuitive, reflective, and receptive state that creates an atmosphere of openness and trust, and an authentic connection with my client. This inspires them to share their experiences freely and without reservations or qualifications.
