About the Journal

The vision of  Terra Lucida Journal: Mapping the Soul Journey is to provide a receptive, expansive and pertinent literary vehicle for academics and other creative and profoundly engaged thinkers. We invite a wide variety of individuals to contribute to the journal including writers, poets, artists, film and literary critics, ecopsychologist, deep ecologists, Jungians, archetypal psychologists, philosophers, and other individuals involved in shamanic, mystical, indigenous and a variety of healing modalities that are focused on the health, integrity and well-being of the human soul, the soul of the world and all beings. The works published in Terra Lucida Journal:Mapping the Soul Journey are segmented into three categories:

The viewpoints section hosts more informal creative works that express the personal opinions, perspectives and experiences of the writer that pertain to the vision of the journal. The articles section, offers the reader more traditional academically referenced works. The reviews section offers articles that take a depth psychological approach to analyzing, interpreting or extrapolating meaning and significance in literature, web sites, movies, television programming, art, music, travel etc.
